Proven Brands™ To Launch Paint Applicator Line For Independent Retailers At National Hardware Show In Las Vegas May 9-11, 2006

The Denver, Colorado-based Proven Brands™ is introducing a new line of paint applicators at the National Hardware Show May 9-11 in Las Vegas. The Valencia, California-based Great American Marketing (GAM) manufactures Proven Brands™ paint applicators exclusively for Proven Brands™. Proven Brands™ delivers national brand quality, superior product performance, outstanding shelf presence and profit margin advantage. The 50-item line of paint sundry products includes paint brushes, roller covers and frames. The new line will be featured in the Great American Marketing booth #34519 in the central hall on level one at the National Hardware Show. "Proven Brands' new product launch is part of a trend for controlled label products to help independent retailers net more margins and set themselves

Paul Michalowski, Great American Marketing's vice president, said the line is designed to encompass an eight-foot section of paint brushes and roller covers in a retail store. "It's a good, better, best line of products ranging in sizes, applications and thickness," Michalowski said. "Consumers can use a different nap size to create a different texture, from a smooth finish to a rough finish."

Sullivan said the current Proven Brands product offering includes paint & paint sundries products, lawn & garden products, plumbing products and batteries. Following the National Hardware Show launch, the new product line will also be promoted at the upcoming PRO Group, Inc. "Group Merchandising Conference" June 7-9 in Atlanta.
